The reason is not generosity. Selling a website is the expensive part of a website. The discovery call, the proposal, the second proposal, the chasing — that work is what turns a modest job into a five-figure invoice, and it produces nothing you can look at.

So we removed it. We build the thing instead and let it make its own case. Most people will look and say no, and we have made peace with that: the days we spend building still cost us less than the fortnight of selling would.

What that leaves is a straightforward arrangement. You see the finished site, you change whatever you want, and then you decide. Nobody follows up with you. Nobody has a quota.
