A finished job proves nothing, because every finished job looks finished. The photos that sell are of the parts nobody can see afterwards — the footing, the base, the joint — and they exist for about an hour.

Three quotes that all say the same thing leave the customer one thing to compare: the number. A quote gets accepted when it answers the questions they were too embarrassed to ask — dates, exclusions, clean-up, payment.

Silence usually means they cannot decide yet, not that they picked somebody else. A follow-up that asks for an answer makes replying harder; one that brings new information makes it easy. Two messages, then stop.
